Afterschool Geekery : Human Dignity in Ukraine

Together with the Global Human Dignity Foundation, we implemented the Afterschool Geekery educational program in Transcarpathia, which is being implemented simultaneously in three countries.

The program was aimed at supporting children from low-income families and children from the Roma community, providing them with the opportunity to:   ● acquire basic and advanced digital literacy skills;   ● learn the basics of coding;   ● get acquainted with robotics and modern technologies.

The purpose of the program

Not only to transfer knowledge, but also to provide children with valuable experience that will help them:   ● realize one's own potential;   ● develop creativity and critical thinking;   ● prepare for successful integration into the 21st century labor market.
The program contributed to expanding educational opportunities and building self-confidence among children who often face barriers to access quality education.
