This event is an example of successful international cooperation in addressing the problem of housing inequality among Roma communities. For Ukraine, which also faces similar challenges, the experience and achievements presented at the conference can become the basis for developing its own initiatives and programs aimed at improving the housing conditions of Roma communities.

Program goal

The conference was dedicated to discussing current and future Habitat for Humanity initiatives to improve housing conditions for Roma communities in Europe. The main objectives of the event were:
Exchange of experiences;
Educational initiatives;
Practical demonstrations.

The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, NGOs, urban and energy efficiency experts, as well as community residents. Together, they discussed strategies for integrating Roma communities into sustainable development processes and improving housing conditions.
